Autistic Youth International invites you to Neurodivergent Youth Advocacy Day, a free virtual event created to educate, empower, and uplift Neurodivergent youth and the communities that support them.

This global day of learning and connection is designed especially for youth ages 16–24, but the event is open to everyone.

Purpose of Neurodivergent Youth Advocacy Day

Neurodivergent Youth Advocacy Day exists to ensure young people have the knowledge and tools to thrive, lead, and create change. Participants will learn about:

Neurodivergent history and identity
Disability rights and legal protections
Policies that impact Neurodivergent youth in school, work, and community life
How to self-advocate in everyday settings
Ways to become an advocate for others and strengthen inclusive communities

Our goal is to help youth understand their power, their rights, and their role in shaping a more accessible future.

This event will include engaging sessions focused on education and advocacy, featuring:

Inspiring Speakers

Hear from advocates, educators and leaders across the Neurodiversity and Disability community.

Expert Panel Discussion

Learn about real-world policies, rights-based supports, and strategies for meaningful
advocacy.

Youth Panel

Listen to Neurodivergent youth share lived experience, self-advocacy journeys, and share their concerns about the future.

Although centered on youth voices, this event is open to all who want to learn and support neurodivergent advocacy, including:
